Conocimos a Charles en el verano de 2014 en su casa de la isla de Fishers. Nunca olvidaremos los días que pasamos con él, sentadas disfrutando de aquella maravillosa vista, de su conversación y de su hospitalidad. Descanse en paz. Your spanish friends Carmen y Marisa

I was a sophomore at Trinity in 1959, required to take Fine Arts with no idea of why. Prof. Ferguson taught the course and within the first half hour I knew I had discovered a wonderful world and a great teacher. Among the course requirements was a research paper; I did mine on the cathedral of Albi, France. Years later, while living in Europe, I was able to visit the cathedral; and when I returned to the USA, Prof. Ferguson was displaying his art work at a show in the area; it was a delight to visit him there and share my surprise at what Albi in reality looked like, as well as reminiscences of his class. How wonderful that this military hero and fine educator was able to enjoy such a long life!
