Dear Caroline,
I just attended our 45th (yikes) Darien High School reunion Aug3-5 and I was passing through our old neighbor hood and thinking of your family I discovered your father's obit on the internet and I would love to reconnect
I have vague and fond memories of the pool table / ping pong table in your basement rec room and meals/ sleepovers and even visiting camp on
I am sorry to see your father died in a car accident
Hello to your sisters you are lucky everyone lives in state My sisters Altana and Jessica are in New Mexico and North Carolina
My Mom lives behind us and is doing remarkably well She was widowed 24 years ago and finally chose to move near one of us. She downsized and relocated at age 80 , to Burlington about 13 years ago. I am waiting in the wings to help but she is staunchly independent at the moment.
Thinking of you
Chris

I was so very sad to hear about the passing of Eddie Carabillo. I am Susie Malinosky Maranda, daughter of Eddie's cousin Evelyn. My Mother loved him and they never lost touch. They were close as children and close as adults.
As a child, I remember many visits to Eddie and Nancy's cottage in Rhode Island. I can still see him sitting on my Mother's lawn in Niantic telling me story after story about the family. He knew so much that my Mother didn't remember or would not share. I loved his visits. I found him fascinating!
My heart goes out to his girls, his family and Natalie.
He will be missed.
