Dick, I am deeply saddened to learn of Betsy' s passing. My thoughts of our wonderful experiences we shared in Glastonbury are deeply embedded in my heart. Many of my joys there were due to you both. Betsy was an inspiration to all she touched. My sincere condolences to you and the entire family. Always, Jane Powell

Even though I haven't seen you, Dick, or Betsy for many years now, it is hard to think of her passing. I remember how her ideas and energy helped the idea of having a nature center in Glastonbury become the Holland Brook Center. We served together on the Steering and Advisory Committees. It later became the CT Audubon Center at Glastonbury. She was a key volunteer for our auctions, especially recruiting you, Dick, for the auctioneer!

She also was a key member of the Town's Bicentennial Celebration. She even managed to recruit my husband, Gerhard, to man the fund-raising shop!

I treasure memories of her, and offer you my sympathy,

Duffy

Betsy was the epitome of a real hootlaughs and amusement were always on her agenda. FUN should have been her middle name. At the same time, she was intelligent and articulate, donating her creative talents to better the communities in which she lived.

We met Betsy & Dick when they moved to Sunapee through mutual friends and tennis. Although we are a bit younger, we could never keep up with them on the ski slopes.

Betsy was the consummate hostess who both nurtured and treasured her friendships. We've been blessed to enjoy the fruits of her friendship over the past 15 years or so.

We send you Dick our deepest sympathies and to all the family.
With our love
KC & Barry
