Woodard H. Roberts, 93, of Wolcott, beloved husband of Patsy (Sheehan) Roberts, died Sunday October 29, 2017 at Wolcott View Manor. He was born in Madison County, NC, son of the late Charles and Haddie (Correll) Roberts. Woodard was a veteran serving with the US Navy. Prior to his retirement, Woodard was a member of Local 671 Teamsters and drove for Portland Chemical. He had the love of music, he enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica. He was also an avid Alanta Braves fan. Woodard is survived by his wife Patsy, sons, William Roberts and his wife Heidi of Wolcott, Woodard Roberts, Jr. of Middletown, Skip Roberts and his wife Audrey of Higganum, William Roberts of New Orleans, Louisiana, sister, Patricia Ruth Whittaker and her husband Antony of FL, 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Buster Newitt Roberts and sisters, Ruby Roberts. , Stella Riddle. Funeral services will be held Thursday November 2nd at 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home 3 Silver Street., Middletown. Friend may call prior to the service from 5 to 7pm.
