Dear Shelia, You have our deepest sympathy. We loved and respected Jim. One of the things we miss the most about not being at Wells is seeing him sitting on the porch and walking on the beach with his dog. I will miss the conversations we had sitting on the beach. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sheila & your lovely family...
My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. God bless you and give you strength to carry on. A great man has left this earth but his legacy will carry you through. Cherish & embrace the memories. Always believe he is by your side wanting you to be strong like the strong wise loving caring husband..father..grandfather and friend that he was. I will miss his waves & hellos from his rocking chair on the deck. He was admired beyond words!
RIP Jim

How fortunate our whole family has been to have had our summers filled with a such a good friend like Jim. Those smiles and waves from the porch let us know he was watching over our little compound. We never knew just when he would make that surprise "donut run". We will always remember his walks on the beach with "Parker", his strolls down into the waves, and his sitting in his covered beach chair watching over all the kids. The memories of how special he treated our grandson with his special kindness and wise advice as he went off for a career in the Navy will leave us forever grateful. Sheila, we send you and the whole family our deepest sympathy and prayers. Wish we could be there with you.
