I have gotten updates from home over the years regarding Jimmy, but I never imagined his death might be the next news. I am so sorry for his loss-my deepest condolences to his family.

Jimmy and my brother Bobby, 4 years my senior, were fast friends and for a time it seemed there wasn't a day when Jimmy didn't appear on his banana seat bike at our house in Avon. These guys shared a love of cars and motorcycles and speed. They graduated from bicycles and slot cars to motorcycles and fast autos-always seeking the thrill of racing forward moving fast and faster.

I remember before my brother left home, their greeting had evolved to: "James"/ "Robert" and seemed a combination of boast and pride signaling that their lives were becoming their own. Both became entreprenuers and for all their love of going anywhere but here, moved into adulthood deeply rooted by ties to their early communities.

I will continue to remember Jimmy as a roguishly handsome, capable, easy-to-laugh, salt of the Earth human whom we called friend.

It saddened me to read about Jim,
I remember him from many years ago.
He was driving truck and helping his dad do paving too . They paved driveways for the houses my dad built.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Jim and also with your dad Clinton.
Sincerely,
Dana
