I worked as a RT with Dr. Bartlett at NYU Brooklyn. It was truly an honor. He inspired me to go to medical school and become a physician. I am currently attending the same medical school as he did. I am convinced I got into that school because the strong letter of recommendation he wrote me. I am were I am because of Dr. Bartlett.

Dr. Bartlett was kind, patient, a great mentor and an amazing human being. He gave everyone respect and showed gratitude and the man knew how to teach. I hope God give Mrs. Bartlett and their children the strength to go through this unbearable loss. You will be miss Dr. Bartlett. Rest in peace sir!

Janelle (& Jerry and Stephanie),
I am so incredibly sorry to hear about Jeff's passing... words can't possibly summarize what you are all feeling right now and we feel so deeply for you all. Please know that the thoughts, prayers and love from our collective families are ringing out and we sincerely hope that God can comfort you all during this incredibly difficult time. Jeff was one of the most genuine and sincere guys I ever had the privilege of knowing (and growing up with). It didn't matter if it was Boy Scouts, or baseball games, or swimming and goofing around in the Summer for nearly two decades - he was always an amazing friend and someone I could always count on. I will never forget Jeff and the multitude of fantastic memories I was lucky enough to share with him.
May the good Lord bring your families peace during this time. All the best. I am so sorry.

I was deeply saddened by the news of Dr Bartlett passing. My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. He was a wonderful doctor that was loved and all the nurses at Lutheran Medical Center ( NYU langone-Brooklyn) respected and appreciated him. Yesterday was such a difficult day, meeting his devastated family and looking at his pictures at the view. He was loved by so many! May God give you the comfort and peace that you seek and may the soul of our beloved NICU doctor rest in peace.

I had the privilege of working with Dr. Bartlett at Lutheran Hospital. I am devastated to hear about his passing. He was such an amazing person and a great neonatologist and left such a mark at our hospital. He was so kind and caring to all the staff especially to the nurses. He took every opportunity to teach and educate. He was relentlessly dedicated to the care and wellbeing of all his patients and their families. We were all lucky to have known him, and I will truly miss him.

What an amazing Doctor! He will truly be missed. May he Rest In Peace

Dr Bartlett will always be remembered as a very skilled, gentle, brilliant, compassionate, and diligent neonatologist. He was kind to everyone and tirelessly worked hard to help the babies, parents, nurses, physician assistants and fellow doctors. He was passionate about teaching and always made the extra effort at the expense of his own free time. He was most proud of his family and glowed when he showed pictures of his wife and children. I will always remember his warm smile and kind eyes. I was always happy to work with him. I knew no matter what happened, we would have good day. You were a gentle soul Jeff and I hope you have found peace.

Dr Jeff was not only a brilliant doctor but also one of the most compassionate doctors . He touched the lives of not only his patients but also their families. Jeff was a close friend of mine for many years. Janelle, we haven't met, but I have been grateful to you for posting his recent achievements and to watch him reach so many of his professional and personal goals set long ago. I believed we would see each other again soon. Let this be one more of the many lessons I learned knowing Jeff (though I will always believe all Jack Johnson songs sound the same and sandals are a poor choice of footwear for most occasions, including hiking). I am heartbroken for the loss of my friend and for those who loved him dearly.

To the Family of Dr. Jeffery Bartlett:

The physicians and staff of the Fairfield County Medical Association were saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Bartlett. Our deepest sympathy is extended to you.

Dr. Bartlett's dedication to the practice of medicine left its impact on our community. His young yet already distinguished medical career as a respected pediatrician and neonatologist was remarkable. Dr. Bartlett's colleagues at the Fairfield County Medical Association recently bestowed him with the Association's highest honor for notable and exemplary patient care- the 2019 Dr. Melville G. Magida Award. Dr. Bartlett was the personification of those principles.

May the love of family and friends coupled with fond memories be a source of strength, comfort and encouragement.

Jerry and Stephanie.I'm so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. A great young man with style and charm that we enjoyed often when he and Kyle were at our home. And who can forget those snow ballgames at Green Mountain, right? Time does heal but Kyle is often on my heart and mind. Jeff's smile and memories will remain with you until you meet again. God bless. Steve C.

Stephanie, Jerry, and all of Jeff's family,
Jeff and Stacy were to be born at about the same time and we were all so excited! Jeff came first and we walked up to the nursery to see him after our Lamaze class where his delivery was announced. Stacy says that Jeff was her first childhood friend and she has many happy memories playing together. We are all heartbroken for your pain. Hang on tightly to your grandchildren and to each other. I know you were so proud of your son. The world has lost a good man and a wonderful Doctor. He was the sweetest little boy and I can only imagine the good man he became. There are just no words.

Dr Bartlett was the first Neonatologist I worked with at NYU Brooklyn. Right from the start, he made me feel welcome and one of the team. He was funny, kind, compassionate, and super smart. Dr. Bartlett respected nurses and considered our judgement as valued and valid. Our NICU was better for having experienced his teaching and guidance.
We all mourn his passing. Dr. Bartlett will always be remembered for the genuine, caring and exceptional person that he was.
