Dear Marianne and family members of John Corona, Jr.

It is with heartfelt sympathy that I send my condolences. I did not learn of John's passing until today, January 17.
Although, I never met John personally, I did have occasion to speak with him on the phone when I called to talk with Marianne. John was a friendly voice and ever so solicitous to see how he could help.

Those of us who serve with Marianne on CACIWC (CT Association of Conservation & Inland Wetlands Commissions) Board of Directors have the supreme honor of knowing her and value her dedication.

It is through Marianne that I came to know about the accomplishments and abilities of her husband. They were a good match.

During the time I've known Marianne, I have found her to be top notch in all she commits to doing. She has built a following of people who recognize her dedication to conservation, the environment, and sundry issues.

This is the same devotion she brought to caring for her husband during these past years. Her love was well expressed in the way she admiringly spoke of him noting that John's health situation had to take priority above everything else.

To Marianne and her family, my condolences and gratitude for all you do and have done.

In sympathy and regard,
Ann Beaudin

I was a classmate of Jack at both St. John's and Middletown High. He was a good man from the beginning. While I left Middletown in 1950, I have not forgotten what a good friend he was. My condolences to his family.
