Linda, I was so shocked to hear John had died. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to attend a ceremony.. I truly feel I've lost a brother-in-law.. I wish you peace in your heart and all good memories. Love, (Wendy's) Elaine

I learned of Big John's passing from my mother, Rita Wooldridge. I am sure that Big John and my late father, Big Tom Wooldridge, are having a drink and a smoke together up in heaven right now. God bless both of their souls. I have many great memories of Mr. Flanagan. A class act! Sincerely- Jessica Wooldridge

My deepest sympathies go out to John's family, Linda and sons Michael and Keith, daughter Ashley and all the grandchildren.
John has been a dear friend for the last 30 years, and I will miss him terribly. We shared so many memories together as we traveled around the world. I will never forget his kareoke performance in Japan as he did his signature song "My Way", John certainly did everything his way. He showed his dancing ability at a disco one evening in Florence, Italy, it was textbook John. I guess I could go on and on.
A better friend you could never find.
