Mr Slauenwhite (Coach) was my teacher, and a my basketball coach for three years at Pulaski. Both being short of stature, coach always had my back. I'll always remember him for that, and the constant encouragement he gave me! RIP, coach!

Mr Slauenwhite was a great teacher with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed. My condolences to the family.

Dear Nancy, Susanne, and John: I was so sad to read about John making his transition to a new life. While the prospects of a new life free of pain, disease, and earthly limitations is joyous, those left behind here on earth feel such a great loss. This will be a difficult time. May God surround you all in love, light and protection. Time is a gift that will give each & every day a grain if peace. Much sympathy and hugs all around.

Dear Slaunenwhite family,
I am a graduate of Pulaski high school, class of 1968. Mr. Slauenwhite was one of my teachers. Later in my life I realized you really could make or break a day for a student just by your attitude. He was a good soul. I remember him fondly.
With deepest sympathy
