We were sorry to hear of your loss, Bev. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. May God comfort your hearts as only He can...With Love, Ron and Linda Hanson

Joe had been in our family for over 54 years. All of us looked to him as our comical "Uncle Joe". He always had some profound words. "Don't worry about it" was heard hundreds of times. He loved family and friends and loved discussing the topics of the world. He and my dad, Louie Russo, had some real memorable moments working together. We remember the many times he would say "but Daddy, donta be mada at me. I still lova you." Of course, dad would have to laugh. Joe was not a worldly man, but he somehow had profound words on many topics. He especially loved talking Italian with my husband, Vic. The dialects were different (Sicilian vs. Romano) but they were still able to carry on their discussions of the world's problems. He was my brother-in-law for 54 years but he was like another brother to me especially when I lost my brother, Sonny, 9 years ago. We love you Uncle Joe. We'll always remember your comical comments that always made us laugh. You'll always have a special place in our hearts. May you rest in peace.

Dear Beverly, I am so sorry to read of Joe's passing today in the Hartford Courant. I always enjoyed visiting with you both, but Joe was quite a character, to say the least. I hope you are OK and I know Joe is at peace now.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you through your loss.

Sincerely,

Bob
