I am saddened to read that Joyce has passed. I met her first when I was co-teaching Vacation Bible School at South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church. She would bring her granddaughters to our program. She was a loving, caring woman.
I saw her last in November when she came to our church bazaar. She was a faithful supporter of our events. I will miss seeing her and "catching up." I will remember her fondly.
Blessings and peace.

Eileen, I am so sorry for your loss. I am pleased that I got a chance to meet your mother when you and Gordon lived in Tallahassee.

Sorry for your loss. I saw Joyce in mid November when she came to our church bazaar. South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church, she was a very kind loving lady. She told me about her granddaughters they were raising & how very proud she was of them all. She used to bring them to our VBS, that's how I got to know her & the girls years ago. She will be missed by all. A saying I have in my home is... Memories are our greatest treasures.. I know you all have many memories. Blessings to you all!

I have nothing but fond memories of chemistry class with "Doc" Groth at New Britain High School back in the mid-1970's. A woman of towering intellect, she showed great patience with those of us who lacked an aptitude for science. After all these years, seeing her name made me smile. So sorry to read of her passing.
