Only now learning of Kim's passing of a few months ago. Saddened. Kim and I attended the University of Wisconsin's graduate school together in 1983 -84. I remember her as a kind and caring person who always seemed to be genuinely concerned about the well-being of others. She was a lady on a mission with many big goals for her career and I am willing to bet that she achieved them all. After grad school we kept in touch with holiday cards for several years but eventually lost contact -- as normally happens. Still I never forgot her as she was truly a good soul. May her legacy of goodness live on in those whose lives she touched through her intelligence, friendship, and kindness.

Kim and I worked in the same department at Cigna for a few years. We would regularly go down for coffee on Friday mornings, when things were calmer than the other days. When my husband and I decided to move to Florida, we went to an area that Kim and Patrick were considering, so we had many conversations about life in Florida, locations, homes, etc. The other day I found an email Kim had sent me, congratulating me on our new home. Had she been able to realize her dream of moving to a warmer climate, Florida would probably not have been the best place for her, as we do get bad thunderstorms. I can picture her now, cowering in the walk in closet, waiting for the storm to blow over.

I was devastated when I learned of Kim's passing from a colleague at Cigna. I know her faith was strong, and knowing Kim, she faced her destiny with courage and dignity. My heartfealt sympathy to Patrick, and the rest of her extended family. I am thankful I got to spend the time I did with Kim, and for the memories I hold dear of our friendship. I pray that the memories you have remain in your hearts, to sustain you, and bring a smile through your tears. .

God Kim,
I just learnt about your passing away, today, by my brother Floyd Wilson.
I only remember your brother Micheal when we were growing up together in the neighborhood, so many, many years ago. The person we both knew and shared time with was Uncle Garland, our Godfather.
I wish you peace and nothing but peace in your next adventure.
Kim Wilson, Paris,France
