Linda J. (Seif) Stanhope, 69, of Windsor Locks loving wife of Arthur Stanhope entered into Eternal Rest on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Kimberly Hall. Linda was born June 26, 1948, in Hartford, CT the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Monahan) Seif. Linda graduated from Weaver Highs School and retired from the law offices of Gersten, Clifford, and Rome, LLP in Hartford after several years. Linda and Arthur where married January 13, 1968, and this Saturday they would have celebrated fifty wonderful years. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was their biggest fan. In addition to her husband she is also survived by two children, Patricia Cochran and her husband, Jacob of Windsor Locks and Gary Stanhope and his wife, Alexandra of Enfield; three grandchildren, Trenten Stanhope, Kameron Mayers and Alex Bouchard; her brother, William "Skip" Seif and his wife, Maura of Powhatan, VA; her sister, Mary Lou Seif and her husband, Jimmy Kalogeros of Windsor Locks; her sister-in-law, Claire Grant and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral service celebrating Linda's life will follow the visiting hours at 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Linda's memory may be made to the Windsor Locks Lions Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 105 Windsor Locks, CT 06096 or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. The Seif family and the Ronan family have been friends since our combined days of St Justin's Drum Corp . I reconnected with Linda through Facebook . Her entries always made me smile .
