Anna "Nancy" (Geary) Vibberts, 86, of Cromwell, beloved wife of 64 years to James Vibberts, died Saturday November 18, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Middlefield, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Kowalski) Geary. Prior to her retirement, Nancy was a medical secretary for Middlesex Hospital. She was a devoted mother and wife, who always put her family's needs first. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Susan Haswell and late husband Neil of Middletown, Donna and her husband Mark Dainiak of Vero Beach, FL, Beth Wojtusik and her husband Joe, of Middletown, and Amy Ireton and her late husband John of Cromwell; son, Jimmy Vibberts of Middletown; also twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (Nov. 22nd) at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial will be in Middlefield Cemetery, Middlefield. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Assoc., 5 Brookside Dr., Wallingford, CT 06492.
