I went to a medium today to talk to my grandmother for her birthday. In the middle of the session, she randomly goes "Somebody here loves to fish". My cousin and I sat there silent because no one in my family fishes. She then goes, "it could be anyone in spirit"... I immediately thought of you and she then said some crazy things you would always say to me. It is truly incredible to know you are still there in spirit fishing away and I hope you know that you will always have a place in my heart

A day never goes by where you don't cross my mind...if only I could just see you one last time to tell you how much you meant to me. There are no words I can think of to describe how much I miss you. I had so much fun with you and will forever cherish all of those moments. You were simply amazing and to have you in my life was such a blessing. Thank you joe for all you have done.

Uncle Joe was awesome with a great sense of humor. I remember he took my brother Jaime and I fishing and tricked me into holding dozens of live worms in my hand. I didn't think it was funny as a five year old but it's hilarious now. Lol. He took me on my first international plane ride to visit my grandparents in Portugal when I was about seven years old and helped me find my first car when I was a teenager. I have many great memories of my uncle and he will undoubtedly be missed.

Joe was my brother-in-law, God Father to my oldest daughter, a friend and a loved member of our family. A talented auto body specialist, he was one of the hardest working individuals I ever met. We will miss his humor, laugh and during the next World Cup his die hard rooting for Team Brazil. You will be missed Joe.
