Kevin F. Chin, 48, of Canton, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at John Dempsey Hospital. He was born May 11, 1969, in Chicopee, MA; son of Shiu Lin Chin of Canton and the late Frank K. Chin. He was a graduate of Canton High School class of 1987 and attended Penn State University. Kevin was a big fan of movies, television shows and comics. He worked for several years for Cinerom, where he made many friends as manager. One of the most important things in his life was the time he spent with his family while working at the family owned, South Pacific Restaurant. He is survived by his children, Kaitlynn and Kyle Chin, and their mother Sara Levy; his brothers, Thomas Chin and his wife Debbie and their children, Alina, Annaliesa and Zachery, Jeffrey Chin and his wife Susan and their children, Josh and Jaden all of Canton; his sister, Connie Munesato and her husband Robert and their daughter Rachel of Canyon Country, CA, many aunts, uncles, several cousins and numerous friends, especially his best friend since childhood, Norm. Kevin will ultimately be remembered for his great devotion to his kids, for whom he would have done anything for. As well as his great sense of humor and his constant smile. He will be sorely missed. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton. Kevin I can't believe your now an angel you have always been a shinning star for your family and friends whenever I saw you even if you were having a bad day you had a smile and encouraging words for anyone you came in contact with.
