Karen & John,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mother. She was a lovely Christian lady and I have fond memories of her.
Both of your parents were special people who influenced my life. Thank you for sharing them with me.

Rhoda was a kind and understanding lady. She was a great help to us when we first came to Connecticut. She was concerned and always willing to share when needed. We extend our heart felt sympathy to Karen and John, as well as all the family at the loss of this wonderful lady.

I last saw Rhoda when I went to Manchester Manor to visit my neighbor and happened to walk by her room and thought "I know her". I stopped in her room, introduced myself, and said "didn't you & my mother play scrabble when she lived in Orford? She smiled and said, yes we did! We chatted for awhile and I asked if she was living there now, as my mother did before she passed in 2013. She said no, it was a problem with her hip, and she had no idea why she was still alive. I smiled and said my brothers & I heard that from mom all the time! She was a lovely lady and a pleasure to have known her. My sincere condolences to you all. Sue Cammeyer.
