Helen Bidwell Obituary



Helen Dorothy (Prill) Bidwell, 91, passed away peacefully February 10, 2018 after a long illness, at Shady Oaks Assisted Living in Bristol, CT. Helen was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Albert and Matilda (Becker) Prill. Helen enjoyed traveling, cooking and entertaining friends and family. She retired after a long and rewarding career at Northeast Utilities (now Eversource). She is survived by her husband, Thomas, of Canton, son Rodney Bidwell of Bristol and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers William, Albert, Robert, Herman Prill and a sister Ruth Prill. The family would like to thank the staff for the wonderful and loving care Helen received at Shady Oaks. Funeral services are private and burial will be at the convenience of the family. The Vincent Funeral Home of Canton has care of the arrangements.
