Dear Jacquie, my heart goes out to you and the girls, as well as to Anne and John and the rest of the family, words just don't cut it at a time like this.
Time takes us in different directions over the years, and it did! But it can't take away the memories we gather and hold dear to our hearts.
Growing up, not a day went by that Tom and I and the guys didn't see each other and hang out. Countless hours, years, spent on the basketball court, and btw girls your dad could shoot a ball back in the day, and a presence under the basket. There wasn't a stream, river or lake in the State at one time or another we didn't drop a line in. As kids we would walk or bike for miles with a fishing pole, and as young adults, a cooler, gas money, poles and off we went.
I remember, the phone would ring ( rotary), it would be Tom calling from Fla or LA after getting off the oil rig and he'd say ill see you tomorrow....and drive straight threw all day and night in his pick up back to CT...crazy.
And then......CBT...Jacquie, Toms face could light up a room when he was with you!
Great friend, great man!!
