My prayers and condolences for the family. Dr. Gieger was, without a doubt, the most brilliant, caring, and able professors I had throughout my college studies. It was always so nice to have a chance meeting with her around town in years past. She will be missed.

Dr. Gieger,
Was one of my instructors and she was something!!! She said what she meant and meant what she said!!! She had a great heart and loved life. The last time I saw her she was being herself and told me so. I thought a lot of her and will mill miss her dearly!

Marie will be truly missed. God broke the mold when he made her. She will be in our hearts forever. My prayers go out to her daughter and sister and her grandson Thad. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
