ARVADA JUNE MARTIN, 85, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord Monday, March 5, 2018. She was born June 3, 1932, in St. Albans, W.Va., a daughter of the late Everett Elwood Dunlap and Effie Roberts Dunlap. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Allene Mae Gaylor, and two brothers, Elwood Dunlap and Edward Dunlap. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Ona. Arvada is survived by three sons, Aaron Wayne (Sophia) Martin of Lebanon, Ind., David Martin of Culloden and Winston Douglas Martin; two daughters, Deborah June Martin of Bluffton, S.C., and Rebecca Gail Hook of Milton; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2018, Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with the Rev. Pete Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane, W.Va. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, at the funeral home.
