PHYLLIS ANN STRATHMAN, 78, of Huntington, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at her son's home in Mount Airy, Maryland. Born November 18, 1939, in Huntington, she was a daughter of the late Earl Franklin Meadows and Cynthia Collins Meadows. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Strathman; brother, Frank Meadows; and her sister, Jean Eskew. Phyllis worked as a budget analyst for the U.S. government for 33 years. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her bowling buddies and listening to Elvis, but above all, she cherished the time she spent with her beloved grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Billy (Dianna) Strathman Jr. of Mount Airy, Md., and her grandchildren, Julia and Michael Strathman and Jennifer Newberry. Services will be at noon on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Beard Mortuary is assisting the family.
