I met Dr. Gregg in 2007 when I was in need of help while my husband was deployed overseas. Throughout the time I spent with Dr. Gregg, which was a long period of time, he became more than a doctor to me, he became a friend. He showed that he was more than a doctor, he had feelings for his patients and showed them that. I was a patient for many years and then moved away due to the military. Even though I was over a couple thousand miles away, he still took the time to check on me and see if I was ok. That is just the kind of Dr he was, more so that is the kind of man he was. Dr. Alan Gregg was a wonderful Dr and even more so, he was a wonderful man with an absolute heart of gold and I will be one of many that will miss him dearly. Rest in peace sweet man, I am praying for you and your family and look forward to the day we meet again.
Thank you for being such a wonderful person to so many people.

Dr Gregg was truly a saint. He helped me become the strong person I am today. He reminded me so much of my grandpa. He will surely be missed and I will pray for your family.

Dr. Gregg really cared about his patients, their families, and the overall conditions of those who he helped. Such a wonderful man. I am honored to have met him.

Our hearts are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with your family. May your precious memories of your time together help with the pain. May God comfort your hearts and give you peace. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

I met Dr. Gregg when I was 14 years old and became friends with Patti. We always had a tremendous mutual respect. He took an interest in whatever I had to say, whether it was about philosophy or psychology or the Miami Dolphins. In later years, we didn't see each other often, but when we did see each other I was always greeted with that same warmth and affection he gave me as a young man. Years ago, Alan asked me to stop calling him Dr. Gregg. I did that, but internally I never quite made the adjustment. I think that's because he always made me feel like I was still the same kid he met all those years ago.
In writing this I was struck by the fact that, for someone whom I knew such a long time, I know relatively few details about him. I think that's because he was always the one who was listening. That's how I will always remember him. Listening, smiling, asking a well-chosen question.
I am so very sad that he is gone. This morning, I send my sympathy to Leslie, to Rob and Kathy and Licia and Melanie and Adam, and to all of Dr. Greggs family especially my dear friend Patti. With love, Grant Livingston.
