Harold was like a father to me while growing up in the trucking business in Miami beside my father John E Brown. Harold always took time for me no matter what the matter was. We have wonderful memories not only in the businesses however the family, My family has great memories of gatherings and fishing in the Keys because of Harold.
When fishing, Harold would say :Quick quick" put the line in the water. We would ask Why? and he would say "So the Fish get the Cent". We would always laugh. Rest in Peace Harold, we will miss your presence here on earth and plan to meet up with you in Heaven. Donna Brown

Deepest sympathy to the Kravitz family. It has been a pleasure knowing him. The love he has shown for the community and my family personally cannot be matched. The big smile and the jokes he shared will be forever treasured. We need more people like him; those that genuinely care for equality for all people. It was truly a blessing to have known him and seen him all of my life. What a great friend to my parents; Mr. Kravitz (Mrs. Betty and Shelley)!

Warmest regards The Pittman Family - Gwendolyn Pittman (the late Clarence Pittman Jr.), Crystal Pittman and ILA Local 1416

It's been a lot of years since we last met but I have only good memories. Thank you for helping me out so many times including buying me a tire for my car after a week as your secretary. Rest in Peace.

My condolences to the family and friends. His daughter and I were in the same study group in law school. Wonderful people, they are and will be missed.

There are no words that could express how you have changed my life. A sentiment I am sure many share. You will forever be loved and greatly missed.

I am deeply saddened with the loss of Hal Kravitz, and worse, crushed that Shelley was called to higher service just days before Hal passed. Hal was a good friend and valued client, entrusting client litigation matters to me when I was a young lawyer starting out in Dade County over 36 years ago. We had many great times together , in court as well as in Long Key at his best fishing holes. He taught me how to eat snapper with eggs way back then! It was there I first met Shelley, the apple of his and Betty's eyes. Together we worked on cases before she went to work as a jurist, dedicating her life to her community. Shelley talked with us often of wanting to be a great judge, and she was. Both of them will be sorely missed in our South Florida families. God speed, and God bless you both.

Rest In Peace Mr. Kravitz you will forever be in my heart! To me you were my grandfather and a man I admire so much. To me and to many you were a hero, friend, and mentor! I was so blessed to have you in my life! I will miss you so much! I cannot believe this therefore I will just say that you are out on business with Betty and Shelley. I love you Mr. K!
