Phyllis Drury Obituary

DRURY, PHYLLIS NADINE was born in Cumberland, KY, in Harlen County on June 20, 1940. She went to be with her Lord on December 16, 2017. She was 77. Phyllis was an active member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Miami for over 40 years, where she also taught CCD classes to the parish children for several years. Phyllis was a long time teachers aide at Royal Palm Elementary School in Miami. Her hobbies included volunteering with the school's PTA, crocheting, and especially gardening. Phyllis is survived by her husband of 51 years, Nicky Drury Sr.; sons, Nicky (Mylinda), Dwayne (Barbara); sister, Connie Adams; grandchildren, Savannah, Ashton, Katelyn, Meagan, Nicky and Levi. A Christian Memorial Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid on Friday January 19, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial Mass arrangements are under the loving devotion of Michael A. Brochetti Funeral Home. Lake Placid. 863-465-9997.
