A mass of Christian burial will be offered for Corinna Kathryn Pisan at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11 a.m. today with Rev. Rogatian Urassa celebrating. Recitation of the holy rosary will precede the mass at 10:30 a.m. Concluding services will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A luncheon reception will be offered at the parish hall.
Mrs. Pisan, 87, died of natural causes in Sky Lakes Medical Center on Feb. 16, 2013, with her family at her side.
She was born May 21, 1925, to Batista Babbini and Ada Buonaccoursi in Santa Rosa, Calif.
She moved to Klamath Falls from San Francisco in 1934, graduating from Sacred Heart Academy in 1944. She met Mario Pisan and the couple was married in 1948 at Sacred Heart Church in Klamath Falls.
Corinna worked at Newberry's as a bookkeeper prior to getting married and then was a stay-at-home mom for her children. In 1971, she went to work for Klamath County in the treasurer/tax office. She took early retirement 14 years later to babysit her grandchildren.
She is best remembered for her love of sports, especially the Trail Blazers, the Hustlin' Owls basketball team, television golf, Italian cooking, Christmas candy and an intense loyalty and support for her family.
In retirement, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren and traveling. She took trips to Canada, Hawaii, Italy and Tahiti and cruises on the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Order of the Sons of Italy Camillo-Columbo Lodge and the Catholic Daughters of America.
Corinna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Marsha Pisan; daughter and son-in-law Cecelia and Tim Amuchastegui; grandchildren and spouses Jennifer Amuchastegui, Aaron and Kaleena Amuchastegui, Matt and Tessie Amuchastegui, Than Amuchastegui, Scott and Lynne Pisan, Jeff Pisan and Kevin and Robbi Crain; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mario, her parents, her stepfather Michele Lotti and her sisters Nella Lazzereschi and Stella Babbini.
Memorial donations can be made to the SMART reading program, 126 S. Third St., Klamath Falls, OR 97601.

Mrs. Pisan left a tremendous legacy in her children who have blessed this community for so many years. I know it must bring a smile to her face in heaven on so many occasions. We are all in her debt.
