Elizabeth B. Eckroat passed away on December 23, 2017, at Preston Place, in Sherman, TX. Elizabeth was born in 1932, in Wayne, WV, and lived most of her life in OKC. She was an RN at Baptist Medical Center for many years, doing work she loved in ICU and surgery. She loved her dogs, Wilson and Taz, she enjoyed gardening and reading all her life.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, and daughter Christina. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Steve Goldsmith, her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Laura Eckroat; her grandchildren Christopher, Jeff, and Ashley; and great-grandchildren Elanor, Jack, and Moses.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sherman, TX, January 16, at 10AM. Graveside service will be at Resurrection Cemetery in OKC, January 17, at 1PM.

I worked with Elizabeth for several years at Baptist. She was a lovely lady and a gentle and caring nurse. She shared her knowledge with anyone who needed it. I admired her very much.
