Dorothy Wooldridge Obituary

Sherman- Dorothy was born Friday, May 9, 1941 in Detroit, Texas to parents Harlan and Annie (Brundige) Whitworth and passed from this life on Friday, January 19, 2018 in Denison at the age of 76.
Dorothy married Michael Wooldridge on July 23, 1963 in Memphis, Texas. She enjoyed cooking southern comfort foods, loved playing Aggravation, and liked doing word seek puzzles. She was a member of the George Jones fan club, an avid Elvis Presley fan, and collector of Elvis memorabilia. She loved listening to music and could often be seen with her walkman and book of Elvis CDs. She was very family oriented and made it her mission to dote on her loved ones.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 sisters and 5 brothers.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Myers and husband Max of Collinsville, and Jamie Murray of Tulsa; grandchildren Ricky Jones and wife Jamie of Durant, Michelle Murray and fiancé Joey Dewiel of Tulsa, Denise Murray of Tulsa, Brooke Murray and fiancé Travis Singleton of Tulsa, and Dorothy Bridges and husband Kyle of Valley View; great grandchildren, Cheyann Bridges, Raymond Bridges and Emma Bridges all of Valley View; brothers, Vernon Whitworth and wife Frances of Sherman, Jerry Whitworth and wife Sandy of Paris, Buddy Whitworth and wife Johnnie of Paris, and Randle Whitworth and wife Dorothy of Mississippi.
