Rosa Lee Spice, age 75, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center.
Rosa was born May 18, 1942 in Denison, Texas the daughter of Woodrow and Edna Mae (Wolfington) Franks. For 40 years she was a loving, compassionate LVN, helping others at Seven Oaks Nursing Home in Bonham and Whitewright Nursing Home before retiring. She loved her family deeply. Rosa will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rosa leaves behind her beloved family, special friend, Larry Washington of Bonham, TX; sons, Thomas J. Vance and wife, Karen of Macomb, OK; Jeffrey Vance of Grayson County; and Michael Vance of Irving, TX; daughters, Susan Estill and husband, Jeffrey of Arlington, TX and Tiffany Spice of Sherman, TX; 27 grandchildren, Nicola, Stephanie, Shawna, Justin, Jeremy, Joshua, Olivia, Adrianna, Angelina, Yasmine, Cassie, Alexus, Destiny, Woodrow, Brinton, Kassidy, Brodie, JW, Brittany, Nikkie,, Taylor, Cecilia, Ezmeralda, Isabella, Jose, Antonio, and Manuel and 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Kay McCurley and husband, Dan of Plano, TX; Linda Keeling and husband, James of Sherman, TX; and Brenda Roper of Sherman, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Edna Mae Franks, sister, Judy Carender and brother, Jerry "Pokey" Franks.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2018 at West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. There is no set time for family visitation.
