Christopher C. Chris Rego, Sr., age 70, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Miriam Hospital. He was the loving hus- band of Carol Ann (Vianna) Rego to whom he was married 50 years. Born in Fall River, MA a son of the late Manuel and Mary (Correia) Rego he was a longtime resident of Swansea. A graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical School he served in the National Guard for 13 years. A skilled woodworker by trade he worked for various contractors in the industry for 25 years before retiring in 2014. He enjoyed refurbishing his home, making furniture and was a member of the East Warren Rod and Gun Club. In addition to his wife he is survived by one son Christopher C. Rego, Jr. and his wife Denise of Swan- sea; five grandchildren, James, Noah, Jocelyn and Marisa Ann Rego and Kimberly Falcon; one great-grandson, Aaron Falcon; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joyce Arruda. His visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea from 4:00 | 7:00 PM with a Funeral Service at 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
