I was a classmate and friend of Brenda's in Roanoke Rapids. She was one of the sweetest friends I ever had. We lived close to each other and walked to school together. Also we were in Girl Scouts and went to the first International Girl Scout Roundup held in Michigan near Detroit. Anne Horne was our Girl Scout leader whom we all love.
Brenda and I remained friends throughout our adult years. I use to stop by to see her on my trips back and forth from Asheville to Roanoke Rapids to see my parents. Then I lost touch with her when I moved to Huntersville. WE LOVE YOU BRENDA AND YOU WILL TRULY BE MISSED by your classmates and friends.

My deepest sympathy to all the family for
the passing of your loved one. May God
provide comfort to each as you strive to
deal with your grief. Let your memories
also supply comfort in the days ahead.
I have not been close to Brenda in the past years but have known of the hard road
she has dealt with. We were classmates at
Watts and she was a wonderful and caring
nurse as well as person. I feel for your
loss.
