Good Friend
September 18, 2017
Tommy E. Hall was a great friend throughout my High School years and our College Years. We attended Saint Augustine's College in Raleigh North Carolina and became roommates while attending Saint Augustine's in 1984. Tommy was always filled with laughter and never a dull moment when he was around. At times Tommy would give great advice in our younger years, as we were working on finding careers that we were going to try to retire from one day. Well Tommy that day is almost here for me and thanks to you for recommending to me that I interview with the Durham County Sheriff's Office. I remember when you and I got hired on the same day of December 3rd 1990 with the Durham County Sheriff's Department. After about 3 or maybe four years had past you went on to the training division and I got promoted to a Sergeant. Thanks to you Tommy I have made a career out of working in the Jail just as we started out doing together. I plan to retire in a year and a half and thanks for advice it won't be long now my friend. Take care now and you will be truly missed tom.
