Whitman, Angelica Schuyler
Dec 28, 1949 - Feb 17, 2021
Dr. Angelica Schuyler Whitman—known to family as Pie and friends as Schuyler—died at home in Sarasota, FL, after a brave struggle with the rare brain disorder Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).
Beloved daughter and sister, she was a loving mother to Ivy and a compassionate psychiatrist who brought healing to children and adults in New York City and western Massachusetts. An early adopter of the Beatles, she also loved Christmas, Masterpiece Theater, crossword puzzles, and books, especially Roosevelt biographies. We will gather to celebrate her life at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Save the Children.
