My passion for the field of creativity and bringing creativity to education was a direct result of meeting Don at a conference in Baton Rouge LA. I'll never forget the "AHA" moment when I knew I wanted to come back to my native Buffalo to get my Master's in Creativity. He was a great teacher and colleague throughout my early development in the field of creativity. Thank you Don. Your contributions to creative learning are significant.

Don was a wonderful friend, teacher, mentor, and colleague for many years. Each time we came to Sarasota, we would get together for dinner and laughs. I worked with Don in planning our gifted program for our Orchard Park School System, worked on books and articles with him, worked on Camp Invention with two others, and worked on creative solutions in Destination Imagination. Our lives were very intertwined.
We shall miss both Judi and Don...what great people. Our sympathy to his entire family.
With prayers,
