Marshall Miles, 95, passed away Feb. 18, 2021. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Lillian and Bern Miles in 1925.
Marshall served as an engineer in the U. S. Army at Argonne working on The Manhattan Project. He went to University of Illinois and earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.
He worked for Stewart Warner and then Cordis Corp, where he designed heart pacemakers and was awarded 18 U.S. patents for his work.
He and his wife Ronnie and their daughter Carrie relocated to Florida in 1971; then upon retiring in 1985, moved to Sarasota, FL.
After Ronnie passed in 1994, Marshall remarried Lois Rose and they had the opportunity to travel and enjoy life prior to her death.
Marshall is survived by his daughter, Carrie Miles and Son-in-Law, Mark Wigley and Grand dog Reigni Dei.
