Michael J. Summers, 70, CPD Ret., passed away in Venice, Florida, on April 2, 2021. He was born to John and Catherine Summers in Evanston, Illinois.
He was predeceased by his parents and his son, Thomas.
He is survived by his loving wife, Connie, his son, Patrick (Sandie), grandchildren, Evan and Eryn, a sister, Mary Joan Byrne (Kevin). He was the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, April 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. Inurnment to follow in Venice Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to the charity of your choice.

I have too many memories to post on this site but he was always a gentleman. He was the President of City Heat Chicago M/C and we rode many miles together. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. My heart goes out to Connie and the rest of his family. R.I.P. King Mikey

Mike was a great FL neighbor and dear friend. Dawn & I will deeply miss and and hope Connie and Mike's family are surrounding by continued comforting hugs, prayers, and love!!!

My family and I have many fond and funny memories of Mike, Connie and their dog Harley! Mike was a good and decent man, an honest and hard working Chicago Cop and a Great Brother and President of City Heat Motorcycle Club! Long Live "King Mikey" and may he R.I.P. CHFFCH!
