Ron and I were fraternity brothers and we had a great time together at KSC. What isn't known is that we both went into the Army a week apart in the fall of 1968; Ron going in first. We were both at Ft. Lewis WA and somehow we learned of each other's existence on post. The only way we could see each other was to go to the post church on Sunday. So, we'd meet, actually 3 of us as Art Fritson was in the same company as Ron. Anyway, we'd go to coffee after church and Ron would tell me what lay ahead for me in basic training that next week. He was a warm and gentle soul; may he rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon him.

PWe've known Ron since we've been in Sarasota. He was a wonderful neighbor and a great guy. He will be missed at Woodside Village West. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I first met Ron about 15 years ago and we became fast friends. We saw each other often, had dinner together and just shot the breeze. In short order,I realized what a gentle soul and a good-hearted man he was.The news of his death was a tremendous shock to me as we had just spoken a few days before.
Not only me,but countless other friends will surly miss Ron as the time passes.
I know that he is with his God and out of pain.
Rest in peace my friend and I'm certain that we will meet again.

Saddened to hear of Ron's death. I have fond memories of our times together at KSC where we were both members of Alpha Tau Omega. I am thankful for his service to our country. Rest in Peace, Brother Ron.
