Nancy Ann Thorne, 71, died on December 31st in San Antonio, Texas, at home with her family. Although born in Columbus, Ohio, she also lived in CO and TN for brief periods of time, but always considered MI her home. Nancy was a grandmother, mother, daughter, sister and very good friend to many. She is known for her delicious cooking, warm hospitality, fierce loyalty, true love and thoughtful generosity. She was self-employed in the restaurant business for most of her life and then worked in office management for Real Estate One and RE/MAX before retiring. Nancy is survived by her loving daughter, Angela Guajardo Paillao (Edwin), grandson Emilio Paillao and granddaughter Isabel Paillao, siblings Bobby Thorne, Paul Thorne, and Cathy Thorne, nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends who were very dear to her. There will not be any formal visitation nor funeral service at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
