Paul D. was the 3rd of 7 children born to Paul A. & Rose (Callovi) Chernak.He graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer, MI with the class of 1958. After graduation, he went to work at a summer resort in ManitowishWaters, Wi. He enlisted in the Army in 1962 to 1964 and was stationed at Fort Leonardwood MS. After he
prouldy served his country, he moved to River Rouge where he was employed at National Steel for over 40 years. It was in River Rouge where he met and married his beloved wife Barbara Robinette. Paul was a very loving and caring person. Very hard working, smart, sports enthusiest, and handsome. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace brother. We love you!!

My father and I got to know Paul over the past year. I have never met someone so sweet and wonderful. He always had a smile and although he had his own health issues, would ask about others. I know the Lord has a special place at his table waiting for Paul.
