We have lost a great educator. Yes Mr. Jones was more than that. He was a shining light to hundreds of children whom he taught. His insights, his magical way of making us all think for ourselves, have never been exceeded to many of us.
I was lucky enough to meet him at Hunter Elementary, in the late 60's. He filled a void many of us kids had at the time, he was truly a godsend.
Yes, we have lost one of the greatest men to share this life with. The things he endowed in us are still burning from those moments he was in the classroom, and are still bright and shining even to today.
Thank you again, Mr. Jones, you will surely be missed.

Dear Shelby,It is with such a heavy heart that I write to you! I am so very sorry to hear about Paul. He was always so very good to me and I loved the way he teased me all the time. I think of you often and cherish all the good times that we shared. You and Paul were both my mentors when I was young and finding my way in the world. I owe my successful career to both of you. I hope you can feel the hugs that I am sending you at this difficult time and I hope you know how much I care. With so much love, Shel! XOXO "SAlyce" and George too!

We became acquainted with Paul when our daughters attended Chormann School in the early 70's He really loved and cared for the students

Jack worked with Paul as a member of the Board of Education for many years and we became good friends and shared many memories.

Carol worked with Paul as President of the Secretaries Union for many years We didn't always agree, but I respected him, he cared a lot for Southgate Schools, and we are so
saddened by his passing. Our deepest sympathy to you Shelby and the rest of your family.
