I am sorry for your loss. I remember having a lot of fun with him and Chris in NJ, and was lucky to have known him and spend so much time with all of you then. My thoughts and love are with you all. - Braegen Carroll

So sorry Legg family! I missed this announcement but pray that the service brought you all comfort knowing how many people were affected by Geoff's life. He'll live on in all of you who loved him!! God's blessings and peace to all of you!!

Geoff was an inspiration to the members of Gilda's Club Brain Cancer Support Group. He was genuine and an encouragement to us all. He set up a private Facebook page for the group so we could keep each other updated between monthly group meetings. His family was his #1 priority and when he had to miss groups he would always stay in touch with the group. He will be greatly missed by us all, even by those who only knew him from the Facebook group! We send our love to the family. Sandi Oosse, Brain Cancer Group facilitator, Gilda's Club Grand Rapids

I am deeply saddened by the news of your loss. I had Mr. Legg for my fourth grade teacher. He remains one of my favorite teachers. I remember his class like it was yesterday. I can recall him teaching me all the shortcuts on an apple. He showed the class fun computer programs that would morph photos of people into funny cartoons. He made learning fun not only by playing four square and teather ball but by inspiring children to follow their dreams. He helped me reach my goals and I hope I can emulate his teaching style to my students. The education system lost a good one. He will be missed.
