May peace be yours to bring comfort. May you have courage to face the days ahead, and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. May God continue to comfort your family (Psalm 9:9,10).

Miss Ruth was intelligent, charming, plucky, strong, funny (with a great, special laugh), energetic, and one who loved to learn new skills and then put them to use -- often skills that were unusual for little ladies such as she was. She was practical. She spoke her mind. She was always wonderfully kind to me. I will never forget living in a hotel for several days in Macon, GA, trying a case with Edgar Neely, Jr. where we worked late into the night at a table in Ruth and Edgar's hotel room! She was there to lend her good ideas for the defense of the case. She would don her pyjamas and sit up in bed reading, occasionally looking up to deliver some thoughts to us on our case preparation. She then would finish her reading, take down her hair, say "Goodnight Edgar and Taylor" and go to sleep! Great memory! Lovely lady. Sincerely, Taylor Daly
