Mildred Mans, age 98, of Holland, passed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Providence Health and Rehabilitation in Zeeland.
Mildred was a member of Holland Heights Christian Reformed Church and a Bible Study Fellowship instructor for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress and was also involved in the family fertilizer business.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. Mans in 1997.
Mildred is survived by her sons, Curtis M. (Jean) Mans of Zeeland, Cris Mans and Sharon Burgess of Grand Haven, Kurt A. Mans of Westminster, SC; grandchildren, Michelle (Mark) Van Den Berg of Denver, CO, Katie (Dan) Bolt of Holland, Laura (Keith) Blystra of Holland, Heidi (Brad) Karsten of West Olive, Abby (Brian) Bouwman of Hamilton, Carly (Luke) Kosters of Hudsonville; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Edith Mulder of Volga, SD, Clara Mast of Volga, SD, Esther Anderson of Brookings, SD, Lois (Eugene) Kleinjan of Volga, SD, Harriet Kuipers of Grand Rapids, MI, Mae O'Neil of Mandeville, LA; in-laws, Esther Meyer of Lynden, WA.
Visitation is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 16 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E 16th St., Holland; and also for 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, January 17 at Holland Heights Christian Reformed Church, 836 E 8th St., Holland. Funeral services are planned for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, also at the church. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Holland Christian Schools and Holland Heights CRC. Condolences may be left online at www.langelandsterenberg.com.

Loving memories of beautiful kind Aunt Mildred, although I did cry when they moved to Michigan! I still have a perfect little dress that she made for me in 1954, also worn by my daughter's and granddaughters.
