Sincere Sympathy. Doris Fields, HISD
October 10, 2017
To the Family of Mrs. Johnson,

I am receiving this news via internet as I am currently in Rome, Italy and regret I could not personally attend the service. I was a student at Southland Elementary (Ruby L. Thompson) when Mrs. Johnson was the Principal there. She loved her students and, more importantly, she fostered close relationships with their parents. Until this very day, I can remember the conversations we had from both a student and parental standpoint. We were all blessed to have her in our lives and We thank God for her. May God bless and keep you always.

Sincerely,
Teresa Moton-Washington and Family

Mrs. Johnson was a very good Principal and a good person. I am sorry for the passing of your mother, mother-in-law and grand mother.

Billie Joe was my good friend. One time I visited her school and she said she wanted something to do in her spare time. I told her about my wedding business and the need for a coordinator for the bridal ceremonies She bought a book and learned how to do it and coordinated my weddings for several years. She brought Mrs. Harrison along to help her. They did a wonderful job and you know it was professional if Billie Jo was doing it. She was a wonderful person with a beautiful personality. I will miss her but God is in control. Praying for the family.
