I had dinner with Candy and several friends over Memorial Day weekend, and had several conversations with her. She was having a wonderful time. I'm glad I had the chance to see her one last time, and am deeply saddened it was the last time. My love to her family and friends.

I haven't made it to the con the last few years but one of the highlights was always catching up with Candy. She was always warm, friendly, gracious and willing to share her extensive knowledge and joy with everyone. She will be greatly missed, and not just by me.
