Dear Adrienne and family,

I've been thinking of you and feeling so sad about your loss. Your father was such a great man. It was so fun getting to spend time with him in Galveston and on Woodsedge. He always seemed to have a smile on his face, no matter what kind of crazy things we teenagers were getting into. (Like jumping off the roof into the ocean or off the balcony into the pool.) Thank you all for the fun times and all the great memories.
I'm so sorry I missed the service, sadly I was at another funeral.

Lots of love,
Jackie Goss Cathriner

Heartfelt condolences to the Wilde family on the loss of Bill. Bill was instrumental in making me feel welcome as a Bracewell summer clerk in the Litigation Section in 1983 and as an associate in the Real Estate section the following year. He was special - such a personable, interesting man. Together with Carlton, they were such wonderful ambassadors for the firm, following the tradition of Searcy and Fentress.

I first met Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wilde while working at Grovewood Gallery in Asheville, NC. Whenever Bill and Ann came into the gallery, they had such a gracious, loving way about them. Bill always had a kind word to say and a gentle smile. Soon after meeting, we discovered we were neighbors in Montreat, NC. As a matter of fact, we can see each other's homes across the valley. It was always comforting to be in Bill's (and Ann's) presence.

My heart is now filled with sorrow for Ann and the family. Bill was such a bright spirit...he still is...in our Savior's loving presence. May you be held close in the loving arms of our Savior...may you be carried in His peace.

When I joined Bracewell in 1990, Mr. Bill Wilde was my assigned partner. He was a true gentleman and class act. I have always respected him and his family. My prayers are with his family and those who knew and loved him.
