God Bless you Auntie, I loved and respected you for your sense of humor, your caring and thoughtfulness for this great-big (both senses of the word) family, your work ethic, and your go-go-go spirit, oh how you loved your independence when you could still drive! I remember going with you to bingo, church, bake and craft sales, shopping and chasing all around Manitowoc in your car to visit different friends and family for coffee-klatsch. I have so many fond memories of you (& what a sweet tooth you had!). You will be missed here in our lives, but I'm sure you have found peace being reunited with God, Busia, Grandma... and ALL of your loved ones in Heaven. You were/are loved by so many! Love, René

I loved my dear great Aunt Caroline, who was like my 2nd grandma since grandma Francis died when I was so young. I will forever think of you as my angel and will forever remember the polish music & polish mass playing from your small radio. You are with your heavenly family now and we were blessed by your presence for over 100 years. Proud that you were my honorary grandma with grandma Elinor at my wedding, and so glad you got to meet my son!

Its so sad hearing another great person has left this earth but oh what a great 100 years they were and I'm so glad she was part of my life. When I was a little one we loved being around Auntie Caroline because she was always a hoot;we would bingo, play 500 rummy, bake sales and shop. One thing that I'll always remember is those birds she had I always wanted to see her birds which i think led to my love of birds!! I just would like to give GOD a little warning and that is between Auntie Caroline and my grandma 500 Rummy and bingo will never be the same in heaven now.but in all seriousness I will definitely miss you Auntie;you weren't just a great aunt to me you were a GREAT AUNT to ALL!!! PS; Say hi to my dad

When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. I will always remember what a "character" Auntie was. Always made us laugh. I wonder if anybody still has a picture of those crazy "bloomers" she wore at one or our family gatherings. :) She was such a lovely lady and we will miss her dearly.

Auntie was a "VERY SPECIAL LADY". She never had children of her own but always told us God still blessed her with a family, all of us nieces and nephews. I have many fond memories of Auntie as a child. She loved bingo and bowling and did it til her age finally prevented her from doing so,even when she went into St. Mary's Home, and she had to be well in her 80's before she gave any of that up. She and her sister, Sister Pacis who worked at the home for many years were like two little energizer bunnies til they just had to give it. You will me missed alot Auntie for sure. Your loving niece, Nancy Krause

Caroline was my Aunt, actually she was more like a mom to many of us, especially afer our own mom's passed on. She never had children of her own but always said the good lord still blessed her with a family cause she had many children, all her nieces and nephews. She was a very special lady to many of us and even won the hearts of all our husbands. She's lived a long live and many of those years were very good years. When Auntie was still in her own home we always loved to go visit with her and keep her company. Especially after Uncle Ervin died and she was alone, she really looked forward to visits from her nieces and nehpews. When she was able to she picked up and drove friends and family to play bingo, she loved her bingo. She used to bowl and liked doing that too, I remember when she first went into the home she still liked bowling at the little bowling alley they had there. She would take us to bowl a game or two with her. She still liked to do bingo too until her eyes just got too bad. There are many fond mememories of Auntie and I'm sure all our family would agree with that. A very precious lady to be sure. We loved her very much and will never forget her. In loving memory, Nancy (McGlin) Krause
