I would like to express my condolences to the family of Chief Bennett. He was a leader, fellow soldier, mentor, and professional friend to me. I met him during my first tour in the Army at Ft. Meade. We again caught up with each other at INSCOM HQs. He was loved and respected. His presence will be missed on this earth, but his spirit will live on!

LikeRay, I was a young new warrant in Augsburg when I first met Dennis, and in much the same way Ray descvribed, he taught me early on how to be a loyal advisor to the "real officers" without being intimidated by them. He was a great officer, a good friend, and just a wonderful human being!

I know that he and Chuck Courtney and George Moore and a score of others like them are up there sharing a weizen beer right now!
