Dear family,

Your hearts weep with the loss of Joe, who had great love for all his family..especially for the love of his life, Olive.
Joe taught us the greatest gift of all, endless love. Joe has left me with many fond memories and a few life lessons!

Loved deeply, wonderful man, beautiful footprint!

Rest in peace my friend Joe. I will never forget all the good times we had when you and Olive lived in Maribel. Lots of good suppers and card playing with little Alyssa. She was always pretty lucky and she loved it when she won. She liked your teasing and will miss you very much also. RIP dear friend. Barb Albrecht and Alyssa Dillinger.

I have fond memories of Joe from throughout my lifetime. In my youth, I remember him working at the Cooperstown Town Shop next door to the house in which I grew up. As a teen, I remember him being the grandfather of one of my high school classmates (Rick). As an adult, I remember he & Olive living at the Belmar Apartments next door to my grandmother, Anita Greenwood. After my grandmother moved to Shady Lane, I would still see Joe & Olive periodically when visiting my friend Barb Albrecht. Joe always had a smile, a laugh, something he made that he wanted to show off, and above all, he had a caring heart for those around him -- especially his wife Olive. Their love for each other was always so touching whenever I spent time with them. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family. He was a good man. May he rest in peace.

Dear Olive, Joyce, Terry and Family,

Please accept my deepest sympathy. What a wonderful, kind and caring man Joe was. I am honored and blessed to have had the opportunity to meet and get to know Joe and Olive this past year. May you find comfort in the love of those around you and in knowing that Joe is enjoying eternal life in Heaven.
